Now Everywhere
This piece was created in memory of our beloved dog, Chloe, whose passing led me to explore grief and the quiet presence that lingers beyond physical loss. Inspired by the Zen ensō and the concept of Mu (無), the work reflects the space between absence and presence, where love endures beyond death. The flowing forms suggest the release of life force something once contained that now exists everywhere. Through poured paint, modeling paste, and resin, I found a way to express what cannot be spoken and what still pulses quietly in the spaces my husband and I hold for love and memory.
Artist Statement
Some experiences leave visible marks. Others are expressed through beauty, memory, color, symbolism, or the simple act of looking more closely. My work explores those quieter spaces where meaning often resides. Rather than offering fixed answers, I invite viewers to discover their own connections through any shared human experience.
